Synced Gmail Extension

Submit Email Attachments

The Synced Gmail extension allows you to submit email attachments directly from Gmail. To get started, ensure the Synced side panel is visible and you're logged into your account.

1. Open any individual email from your inbox
2. The extension will display a list of attachments associated with that email
3. Click the "Process" button on the right side to submit the attachment for data extraction
4. Once processing is complete, click the record to view extracted data and publish a bill record to your accounting platform

Submit Email Body

For invoices or receipts sent in email body text (such as Uber receipts), Synced can extract data from the message itself:

1. Open the relevant email
2. Select "Extract Email Body"
3. The email content will be analysed, with data extracted the same way as PDF attachments would be processed
4. The processed item will appear in your Synced inbox alongside other submitted expenses
