The challenge
Fuel and toll receipts arrived as WhatsApp photos and spreadsheets. Reimbursement took three weeks, and policy went unenforced.
The solution
Drivers snap receipts in the Synced app. Each one is coded automatically to the right Xero tracking category, checked against per-diem caps and alcohol rules, and sent to finance for bulk approval.
The outcome
Reimbursement takes two days. Eleven policy violations were caught last quarter, where before none would have been.
